From The Cradle was Clapton's follow-up to his mega-hit Unplugged. Remarkably, it was the first "blues-only" album recorded by Clapton during his solo career and consisted solely of blues covers. Critically acclaimed world-wide, From The Cradle debuted at number one in the U.S. on Billboard Magazine's Top 200 Albums Chart and its Blues Album Chart when released in October 1994.
