Beauty In Pain – where pain becomes beautiful. With Beauty In Pain, set for release on November 13, 2026, PINHEAD dive deep into the darker sides of modern existence. Created during a period in which - as songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ilja John Lappin describes - more darkness had accumulated over the years than could still be carried, the album portrays a world in which meaning slowly erodes beneath systems that continue to function smoothly on the surface.

Against this backdrop, Beauty In Pain unfolds almost like a psychological descent. The record follows what Lappin describes as the “12 Steps of Pain”- moments of disillusionment and painful clarity in which old illusions gradually fall apart.

Across the twelve tracks, PINHEAD combine grand, epic hook-driven melodies with the brutal darkness of modern death and metalcore. Industrial- influenced soundscapes, electronic textures, and massive guitar riffs meet fragile, partly acoustic moments, creating a tension between raw brutality and artistic fragility.
