'Magnolia', the tenth studio album from The Pineapple Thief, sees Bruce Soord's quest to expand the band's ever-growing horizon truly flourish in tracks that are as brilliantly cinematic as they are meticulously put together. With a sound more akin to Biffy Clyro & Muse, 'Magnolia' targets The Pineapple Thief towards the masses, a devastating collection of 12 beautifully crafted songs, cramming a vast array of emotional shades & inspirational ideas into its 47 mesmerising minutes. Veering from the strident opening assault of "Simple As That", released as the first single, through to the cinematic sweep of the closing track "Bond".

Following 'Magnolia' came top 75 UK album 'Your Wilderness' & 2018's 'Dissolution' at #36 in the UK Albums Chart.

The Pineapple Thief were formed in 1999 by founder & chief songwriter Bruce Soord & have released a total of 13 albums & with Soord scheduled to release his new solo album later this year via Kscope. The lineup now consists of Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) following his permanent joining on 2018's 'Dissolution'.

As well as being The Pineapple Thief figurehead, Bruce Soord is a prolific musician & producer who has collaborated with Katatonia's Jonas Renkse with Wisdom of Crowds, toured alongside Katatonia & created 5.1 mixes & Dolby Atmospheric mixes for TesseracT, Opeth & Jethro Tull.
